Looks good but doesn't fit at all
Overall finish of the pipes and mufflers is very good for the price. Very nice TIG welds, and polished case mufflers that have some weight to them. However nothing about this system was a bolt-in affair for my 2005 Outback XT. The mufflers fit in position well enough, but the midpipe hit the driveshaft in two places when bolted to the downpipe. The Y-pipe hit my rear subframe, and the flanges were absolutely nowhere near where they needed to be to bolt to the mufflers.I knew returning the product would be a complete and total hassle, so I resorted to having a local exhaust guru cut and rotate the midpipe, and then cut the Y-pipe up completely and basically running new sections to the mufflers. This resulted in a very low hanging exhaust pipe at the rear of the car that I'm afraid will be ... Overall finish of the pipes and mufflers is very good for the price. It's a good starting point
HD well made exhaust, just doesn't fit.My son-in-law bought this and gave it to me to install. You couldn't buy the parts to make this for $400. I had to: Slice & bend front pipe Extend the mid pipe 1 1/2", slice & bend in two spots & relocate hanger Slice & bend D-side y-pipe for sway bar clearance D-side muffler extend both ends Extend both rear muffler hangers forward 2 1/2" Came out pretty good, sounds good, not too loud and good ground clearance.If you have welding skills, I would buy.
