    INEXPENSIVE AND FUNCTIONS WELL

    POSITIVE ASPECTS: inexpensive, easy to set up and to operate, smallish footprint, fine quality print, fast enough, and looks attractive. NEGATIVE ASPECTS: very noisy when it is turned on, uses black ink fast, and HP will bother the heck out of you with updates, unless you delete that section of the software. BOTTOM LINE: A great buy for the money and may work even as your first printer. Highly recommended.

    HP Deskjet D1455 Inkjet Printer

    I owned an HP inkjet printer that served me well for several years, but some of its parts eventually wore out. Finding a printer that is not a 3-in-1 unit was not easy and all I needed was a little printer. I finally found another little HP Inkjet and being partial to the brand because of the success of the last one, I purchased it. This new little HP inkjet printer is fast, easy to use, and prints beautifully in color and black/white. It's small, so doesn't take up lots of space on my desk. It prints card stock, 24lb paper, fabric paper, booklet style and much more without the confusion of multiple buttons and programming. It is a gem of a printer, very simple, good quality. I made a great choice staying with the little HP 'printer only' printer.

    HP Deskjet D1455 Printer

    I liked this printer because it is small. I just wanted a basic printer and this fills the bill. This printer would probably not be one that you would want if you were going to print a lot of photos and wanted really good colors. But it does a good job printing basic word processing items, etc.

    good & cheap

    The quality of the print is excellent and my pictures/documents printed pretty quickly. My main problem with this printer is the paper feed; not really with regular paper, but I had problems printing on label paper. The label paper would get stuck and cause a paper jam and when it finally did go through, it would start printing the labels right at the top of the page. After about 10 lost label pages I gave up and decided to return it. My only other complaint is that like most other HP printers, the color ink cartridge comes with all 3 colors together instead of in 3 separate tanks, thereby wasting tons of ink (ok, maybe not tons, but a lot).
