    Perfectly designed by this genius seller to solve a common problem. Keyboards with only USB connections can now have a midi output using this small box. It's minimal. Only one midi port, so I don't have to squint to see which port (in or out) to connect to. Let's face it. You only need MIDI in one direction for control. A simple design has lower latency and better timing. I use this box along with the MOTU fast lane MIDI interface to get better timing into my laptop.

    This is my second purchase from this seller. This unit has become indispensable to me in my recent work with the slew of boutique synthesizer rack and table-top modules that have recently emerged. Some of these beauties are totally new designs and some are re-issues of classic synthesizers that I am old enough to remember lusting after, but could never afford. Now I can take almost any controller keyboard with a USB plug and I am good to go! Well constructed!! Thanks very much for this device...
