The amazing career of Fleetwood Mac has seen them overcome overwhelming personal turmoil, and seemingly tumultuous line-up changes. Hugely ambitious, the band are not afraid to undertake sizeable projects as they straddle the globe on a constant quest to bring their music to an ever-burgeoning fanbase. The DESTINY RULES project began in 2001, and was designed to capture the band as they recorded and toured their first album in 5 years. Filmmakers Matt Baumann and Hyle Einhorn were placed in charge of the task, and the results have been whittled down from over 500 hours of footage to produce this incredible release. Drawing on all their experience, Baumann and Einhorn pull off some neat tricks (including hidden cameras) to capture the most candid footage possible. For fans of the legendary band, this is an awesome way to experience the creative process as it unfolds in front of their eyes.

    Destiny Rules rules

    Well I have to admit that I like most anything with Stevie Nicks in it, but this docu is pretty rad. It's cool to see these people dealing with issues and not just being rock stars. I love the scenes in which they (Stevie and Lindsey) record the back-ups for each others' songs and the fight scene where they each want someone different to mix the cd. I recommend this dvd if you love the Mac and want to see a more personal side of the members.

    Outstanding Documentary On Fleetwood Mac

    Fan since 1975, great up close and personal on the workings of this super group. I miss Christine McVie as part of the fab five. Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham have so much chemistry that is so apparent to their longevity! I highly recommend this to anyone that wishes to know more about one of rocks legends.

    Wow I wish there was more

    Make a long story short A MUST FOR ANY FLEETWOOD MAC/STEVIE NICKS fan. This is one super look into what it takes to make or break an album.
