    Great product, but tough installation and setup but defective.

    The head unit itself is very feature rich and really transforms a car to take advantage of modern software developments. Be advised though that depending on your car, the install can potentially be very difficult and/or expensive if you hire someone to do it for you. For each feature, you need to make sure you have the corresponding hardware installed so that the functionality is available for the headunit to take advantage of. Also SWC retention may be problematic depending on your car. Some functionality may be lost and you will have to use the buttons/touchscreen on the unit itself. However, this particular unit is very laggy and is not normal. I installed another unit and there were no issues. The screen is blacking out and very laggy between inputs.     Not bad, but way overpriced at $800 for refurbished. Kenwood out of stock everywhere! Took what I could find.

    Good unit with lots of high-end features. Only complaint is not having multi-level dimmer. It’s extremely too bright for my taste even when dimmer is set to night time. Makes driving at night uncomfortably for my eyes with the glare. Otherwise I like it. Would prefer the Kenwood DMX957XR but couldn’t find it anywhere. Overall I’m not disappointed with this head unit but I will replace it when Kenwood is available.

    Great Head Unit, Great Experience

    Great head unit, wireless android auto/ car play is seamless and made my audio experience much better. Works great from the box and has everything I expected. Back up camera, louder dac/amp, and wireless android auto. The unit itself is very responsive and comes with an aftermarket mic. I also love the detachable feature, yet it is a gimmick.

    Quality Head Unit With Great Features!

    This is a good quality head unit! Going from the stock radio in my 2007 RAV4 to this was a game changer. The wireless CarPlay feature is great because most of the time my phone never leaves my pocket when I am in the car. A few seconds after I get in, CarPlay appears on the screen. The Bluetooth works great! If you are on a call before powering up the head unit, once Bluetooth connects the call will jump to the head unit quickly enough that you will not lose any of the conversation. Some people have complained about glare on the screen, which I have noticed on bright sunny days, but that is not a deal breaker for me. Overall, this is my first double-DIN head unit I have owned and I am very happy with my purchase!
