Great Bible Story
This is a wonderful story about Jesus! I for one am grateful for the different movies about the Lord! To get the real story we know to read the Bible itself, the words of the Father! These movies are very entertaining and gives us some insight about His life! The Actors were great! Thank you very much!

The Life of Jesus
I had seen this movie before and felt it was so good, I'd add it to my collection. I felt the actor that played Jesus did a good job and it coincided with the bible. There are many movies regarding Jesus and usually the actor playing Him adds a little bit different rendition. Those of us that believe in Jesus probably have difficulty understanding why Jesus was often ridiculed in His time. But from my understanding, the Jewish people and their lives were influenced by many factors back then, including the Pharisees and their teaching. Though this movie follows the bible, I feel it conveys the frustrating Jesus might have felt to have so many people doubt Him.I had seen this movie before and felt it was so good, I'd add it to my collection. Regardless of This Name Change, This is a Great Movie!
This is my favorite Bible movie EVER! It helps that many cast members came from a Shakespearean troupe, because they add so much to this cast of performers giving finely nuanced performances. Cusick became my gold standard for his portrayal of the Christ, and I have between 25 - 30 Bible movies, so I have some foundation for my claim. This movie has spent more hours in my DVD player than any other. I've seen it so often, I can put it in to go to sleep to, because I recall facial expressions, where people are in any given scene, and the look on Jesus' face when He was speaking. Those who might not like it will be the KJV-only adherents. This script uses word-for-word text from the Good News Bible, That's its only script. Kudos to the director, the editors, and the actors.
