Almost perfect add on.
Has all the features needed and I only gave 4 instead of 5 for the following reasons. 1. I had to download the installation instructions from the DEI website because the one in the box was not very well written. The only other reason is that I am not sure why the alarm was defaulted programmed to active arming. I locked my keys in the car several times because of this. Lastly, the arm and disarm button is solid plastic and feels cheap. I like the soft rubber buttons they use to put on the older key fobs DEI made. The shape and the size of the key fobs I really like, just not the feel of the buttons. To really install the unit, downloading the installations from DEI and also going online to get a schematic to know what color wires and location of the wires made a big difference. ... Not my first alarm install, but it still took me 1.5 hrs and that's because I only soldier the wire and do not use splices. Splices fail. Soldiering the wires to the harness wires and wrapping with electrical type is reliable and after 10 plus years I never have problems with a bad connection. I had pro installs before and they end up having problems because the splices connectors fail.

Looks well packaged and good instruction manual Bought it for a hot rod I'm building wont get to use it for another year or so Remote are nice and small, look well built I didn't want a super cheap one given the time and effort to fit them into the wiring loom.
