    SpeakerCraft-BB835-8-Channel-Power-Amplifier is a gret value and has clean sound.

    We are useing it for on stage monitors and this unit works perfect The manual is so simple to understand. Clean sound and the audio (auto sence) is a great feature. The 35 RMS Watts per channel are more than plunty to power our monitors.

    Depends on the friend's audio skills.

    The two biggest things to be mindful of is that the volume controls are only on the back. WOuld have preferred the front. And the other is similar. Input selection for all 8 channels is also on the back. WOuld have preferred a selection from the front. Systems sounds great and drives a lot of speakers around here in 4 stereo zones.
