Uniquely sensitive and a mini flashlight
I have been in the electrical trade for many years and have owned more non-contact testers than I can remember. One such tester that really impressed me was so sensitive that I could pick up voltages from outside of a switch cover plate. When I discovered and purchased the Milwaukee Dual Range Detector, I was very pleased to find it has even greater sensitivity around line voltage than I had ever seen from any other tester. Of course, I get more false positive signals now, but I have an assortment of other testers to help weed out the false signals if needed. The little built in flashlight is helpful for some of the troubleshooting I do. Other then the power button being touch and go once the tester gets some wear and tear, it's my favourite tester. The flashlight feature and compact size make up for the button shortcomings
