I bought this on the base of seller's reviews, because I wanted to know which communities the author considered Relovilles, and I suspect I have lived in some. What I liked very much was that this is a perspective from a rootless professional, not the companies that keep moving their employees. At the same time, he mentioned some problems without much discussion, as though afraid of stepping on someone's toes: "boundaryless careerists" (P. 92), and the need for "hardiness," (p. 184) for example. I would like to have found more about two-career couples, why they have twice the divorce rate, what happens when capitalism has bad years, and how people cope with requiring "trailing spouses."
