    Love it! Smooth operation, strong and durable

    This is a high-quality retractable leash. For our 75-pound Doberman, it works great. The wide tape is smooth and strong, and retracts/extends silently and easily. Love the reflective color. The lock/catch mechanism is a little flimsy, but does actually do the job effectively. One issue: on our first walk to the beach, I dropped the leash when my dog lunged for a rabbit. After being dragged 10' in the sand, the handle/housing got a tiny amount of sand inside that required a LOT of work and patience to clear. It would be great if the housing were designed to be taken apart and reassembled if needed.

    Not everything is sturdy

    The clip that latches the bag holder to the leash broke immediately after opening. The leash itself feels very sturdy. Not sure how this is for small dogs because the resistance is quite strong. My dog doesn’t like the leash too much, I have to lock the leash length for her to walk. She’s small/medium size (14lbs)

    A strong dog leash

    The upgraded Beastron Heavy Duty Retractable Dog leash is a solid well built leash. The bottom clip on poop bag is much better than being secured around the leash handle.
