    Coolant Bypass Hose

    This hose was exactly what we needed. The Chevy Cruze was always running on high fan, sounded like an airplane. The hose broke causing the engine to obviously overheat and making car unable to be driven. Changing this hose not only made the car able to be driven but also made the car idle correctly and not sound like an airplane. Hose was also easy to put on.

    Verify hose type first before you buy.

    Does not come with the clip to secure it to the water outlet, so if you have the old type of hose you will not be able to secure it. Verify that you have the same type before you order.

    Perfect fit.

    I recommend anyone needing this part should watch the videos on YouTube to install it. It's very easy to do yourself. Also an extra should be kept on hand since the nipple tip is make of hard plastic, these things wear out frequently. It's usually the first culprit for having a coolant leak. It took me swapping out all my major hoses before I finally traced the issue back to this very inexpensive repair. My car is nearly six years old and I live in a very cold climate. So, it was time for all the hoses to be changed, and it was no big deal. Since it's so cheap, it's better to have one ready for the next time it's needed so you are not stuck waiting for a new one to be delivered. I was able to complete all the maintenance myself with only a little over a hundred dollars. I am sure I saved ...
