THE BLACK SABBATH STORY is a musical documentary which details the band's rise to success using clips of their best music and most candid interviews through 1978. Songs include "Paranoid," "Children of the Grave," "Rock 'n' Roll Doctor," "Never Say Die," and others. Many of the songs are performed live and are not on any of their current albums.

    EARTH BECOMES BLACK SABBATH, THE FABULOUS OZZY TIMES

    Extraordinary chronicle of the band´s first 8 years, from 1970 to 1978, featuring the original classic lineup of Ozzy Osbourne(vocals), Tony Iommi(guitars), Geezer Butler(bass) and Bill Ward(drums). This dvd contains the story of the group in their own words, mostly tell it by Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler with minor interventions of Ozzy(interviewed in 1974´s California Jam) and Bill Ward, besides a lengthy interview with the band´s first manager Jim Simpson who talks us through Sabbath´s very ealiest years. The programme have got 11 tracks mixed in 5.1 surround sound, from black & white footage of 1970´s Belgium TV to 1978´s concert at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England. You can enjoy listening and viewing many Sabbath´s classics since first album "N.I.B." to last album with Ozzy ...

    A great Sabbath DVD

    This is a great DVD for fans of Black Sabbath. There is a lot of good footage here, and the songs are complete, which is a plus. The interviews with Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler are cool too, there's no interviews with Ozzy or Bill Ward, but still this is a highly enjoyable DVD.

    Gnarly

    Fantastic version of War Pigs is included with gnarly drums! Good info about early years; some humor as well. Tony Iommi's hugely inflential guitar work crunches throughout, and Ozzy's uniqueness shines.

    Sound quality is not the best.

    Great footage of Black Sabbath. The sound quality is not the best. Its even worse than bootleg videos. It is a shame because if not it would have been an awsome video. Also it does not play on regular DVD player. Only on MPG 4 capable DVD players.

    The Black Sabbath Story

    My son will love it for Christmas ! He's a Black Sabbath fan and collects their products and this is something I don't think he even knows about. With this being new and still shrink wrapped is a big bonus
