You are the Kick Master... Kick Master is an action game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The sorceress Belzed has killed the king and queen of Lowrel and kidnapped the princess. The last living knight, Macren, sets out with his younger brother Thonolan, only to be killed himself. Thonolan vows to make Belzed pay for killing his brother, as well as the king. Using Thonolan's might kicks, this adventure should be a breeze! He can also use magic when things get tough. Kick Master has RPG elements, in that you level up as you defeat enemies.

    Kick Master (NES)

    Although relatively obscure, this little-known game is a real gem. Its decent graphics and sound, interesting (albeit cliche) storyline, and near-flawless controls make for a pretty sweet platformer. Developed by Taito and released in 1992, you may have missed this one. But it is well worth a second look, especially for fans of "G.I. Joe: Real American Hero" and "G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor" for the NES. Anyone who has played these games will probably notice the striking similarities, which let me tell you, are a GOOD thing. And with upgradeable moves, more story, and very cool bosses, in my opinion Kick Master is even better than the much-loved G.I. Joe titles released for the NES. Would I recommend this game? Indubidably! Pick this one up today, and start kickin'!
