Product Information

After many years of having the played the genre for melodrama and operatic effect, spaghetti Western filmmakers finally took the plunge in 1971 and made and out-and-out comedy with THEY CALL ME TRINITY (LO CHIAMAVANO TRINITY). Trinity is a lazy, shiftless gunfighter who would have been killed long ago if not for his blinding fast draw. He saunters into a town and discovers that his brother has somehow (and under questionable circumstances, it turns out) become the sheriff. But the two brothers find an opportunity to redeem themselves by helping a group of Mormons fight off an evil tycoon intent on taking their land.

    They Call Me Trinity

    Been a huge "Trinity" fan since the early 1970's. The DVD is outstanding quality (compared to the VHS version). All dialogue/sound is clearly audible as well as really good color/image quality. One of the original great spaghetti westerns that's both spoofy and comical as well as engaging and sheer fun. Who can't fall in love with Trinity and Bambino? I purchased this to begin a Trinity and western DVD collection.

    One of my favorites! You will love it too!

    This is one of the better done spaghetti westerns. It’s funny not dirty and is a great movie for 12 and up! Look for “Trinity is still My name.” Even better movie. You are sure to love!
