    Works well; good value

    I was having performance issues with the built-in Wifi on my Alienware Alpha that I just could not resolve. I decided to try this device with the hope that it would be less susceptible to interference. Both the overall speed and signal consistency improved by using this device. My only complaint is that the the utility software does not work with Windows 8.1. Nonetheless, set-up was not hard and its been problem free thus far. Given the price, I am very satisfied

    Won't work with macOS High Sierra MacBook I bought a year ago

    There was no indication that TP-Link has produced software that would enable the Wireless High Gain Adapter TL-WN822N to work. For some reason TP Link haven't bothered to update user software to make available the driver required for macOS High Sierra version 10.13.3 sandy z, ( support.usa-tp-link com).

    I purchased because of compatibility with Channel Master DVR+

    I got a lead on this USB 2 antenna (not detachable) wifi adapter to use with my new Channel Master DVR+. Did it work: Yes! Version (V3) of this product has the same chipset as the CM USB unit available for purchase at twice the price. So I opted to make the purchase from NewEGG. Everything works fine. The advantages for me? About 3 feet of USB cord to put some distance between the WIFI unit and the DVR. In addition, this unit has 2 (non-detachable) antennas....much better than the stub that sits behind the DVR that Channel Master offers for twice the price. So far, for this application, I am EXTREMELY satisfied. Please note, the shared chipset apparently is only with V3 only. SO you are at some risk with this purchase. TO my knowledge, V3 is the current production line (and ...

    This wireless adapter lived up to every expectation I had and more.

    Now in my home the router/modem is placed in the sun room, the sun room in my house is practically outside it is the furthest spot from my computer. I had a wireless adapter I bought of this site previously it just didn't cut it. It was honestly horrible. So I was very apprehensive about buying this one. Well that was wasted anxiety because this router has given me the best signal I have EVER had in this house. Seriously, no more dropped Skype calls, no more lag in video games, it works perfectly. I loved this adapter so much I urged my cousin to get one and he did and loved it as well. My nanna got one and loved it as well.
