Product Information

Guilty Gear X: Advance Edition brings the PS2 fighter to the handheld system and offers three modes of gameplay: training, single-player arcade, and two-player one-on-one via link cable (requires both players to own cartridge). Fights between the combatants default to a best of three round setup, with both three and four key operation modes available. Rounds last 99 seconds, with a fourth round tiebreaker available should the main event end in a draw.<br><br>In addition to head-to-head fighting competition, the GBA edition features a story mode, which according to the publisher, is "thrown in to spice up the action." Action is tracked onscreen through the use of an energy gauge, score display, timer, number of wins (victory mark), hits, and tensile gauge (increases during attack or dash). Players control teams of up to three fighters, with the characters not under direct control guarding or assisting the command character.

    A good fighting game for GBA.

    Guilty Gear is known as one of the best 2D Fighters. Fighting Games in GBA are not as common as in consoles. This game is one of the best for GBA along with SFA 3, KOF EX & KOF Neoblood. The graphics are good for a GBA game, though not as good as in the KOF games. The sound is really average, but not realy that bothering. However the controls and the gameplay do not disappoint. Being a portable cartridge based game, you won't be finding all the things that appear in the Arcade, DC, Xbox and PS2 versions. But what it does have that the other US versions doesn't, are endings with story. It might not be that great an addition, but at least that's somthing new. It's certainly recommended for fans of the series or Fighting Games. Other players might not feel compelled to buy it. Also if you are ...

    good fighting game

    this game is good. the concept is good but, the control are horrible, the graph too for a gba game. the level of difficulty is too easy, and we don't know the story behind the fact why they are fighting after all. after all that, it's a good divertissement whem you want just to give a strike, to kil some time or just for fun. it's for someone who like this kind of game.

    If you want Guilty Gear on the go... here it is!

    As someone who picked up Guilty Gear at Accent Core +R, my expectation of a Guilty Gear title are astonishingly lived up to! The only differences beyond the tiny, simplified sprites and backdrops are a shortage of certain characters and attacks. You have Sol's Bandit Revolver, but not Bandit Bringer (for example). Otherwise everything else is here, false roman cancels, slashback, faultless defence, bursts, combos, instant kills, and all the signature GG specail moves and and playstyle that makes it a true Guilty Gear experiance! It's impressive you can stick so much Guilty Gear in a tiny package, one you could take with you on a road trip! Great for anyone who ever has craving for GG when they are way from their home console
