AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 2.0GHz (AXDA2400DKV3C) Processor
I got this item more than 4 weeks ago to upgrade my PC. I have an old PC with AMD Duron 800 MHz and thought to upgrade it and give it for my parents. I had 1GB RAM and I just needed one of the fastest CPU my motherboard can handle. So I decided this one. After replacing CPU and setting right FSB the computer was much faster, not only because of CPU, but also because of FSB, that the RAM can also use. I'm lucky I bought this item, because now my parents have a good PC for cheap upgrade.I got this item more than 4 weeks ago to upgrade my PC. I purchased this processor as I wanted to fit it on a board running a processor XP1600.Apparently the board supports processors XP 1600 and above. When I fit it, the board stopped responding and I lost almost one night and at last I reinstalled the XP 1600 processor. I cannot say exactly if the above processor is not good but i got no response from the board. I dont want to lose more time, so i kept it apartr.I purchased this processor as I wanted to fit it on a board running a processor XP1600.Apparently the board supports processors XP 1600 and above.
