It doesn't has as many songs as the essential dionne warwick CD, but it has more current songs & duets. Many of the tracks were remastered so the tones are clear.

Nice Collection!
This is a good collection of songs. My favorites are: "don't make me over", "walk on by", "i say a little prayer", "then came you", "deja vu", "heartbreaker", "will you still love me tomorrow", "love power", "reservations for two" and "that's what friends are for". The following information is for the following tracks: Track 1 was remade by Luther Vandross (his version is better), 2 & 3 were remade by Sybil (her versions are more mid-tempo disco but they're very good), 6 was remade by Aretha Franklin, 10 is with The Spinners, 15 has The Bee Gees on background vocals, 16 is a duet with Luther Vandross, 17 features the Shirelles (at least these three - Doris ... This is a good collection of songs. My main dislike about this collection is that 3 songs have glitches at the end of the songs. Apparently, the sound recorder person forgot to press stop at the end of those three songs, so after each song ends, there is 1 or 2 seconds of the song that comes after it on this collection. Example: "Anyone who had a heart" has part of "Don't make me over" at the end of track #1, "Alfie" has part of "I say a little prayer" at the end of track #5 and "Deja vu" has part of "After you" at the end of track #12. Besides those glitches, this cd has "GREAT" sound quality. CD cover & case are flawless. The person/team who remastered these songs done a very good job. Arista has done it again. Although I still can't forget how Arista left Three Times Dope out to dry. But that's fine because group member E.S.T. said he purchased their master tapes from Arista Records and will reissue their music. I'll look forward to that. Philly, PA's in the house!

Ms. Warwick was the rage in the Bacharach days of the late 60's. The music creeps back every now & then in movies. As for me, it'll never die and her treatment and range are timeless. Just saw her on a recent PBS special. Except for a bit more gray and some aging....she is simply = Ms. Dionne! You'll love this CD which covers most of her hits. The CD does not skimp on songs.
