Heavy Duty Cart
This cart weighs over 40 lbs. If you are looking for a rugged cart that holds a lot of gear you might choose this one. I'm a women and I think it's a little too large for me(so I'll let the men use it).If you've used Rock and Roller carts this one is made of heavier steel. The wheels are larger too. It's still fairly new and I wonder how it will fit in some elevators. Of course one could shorten it. Overall I'm happy to own it.This cart weighs over 40 lbs. Solid as a rock (n roller)!
I had the R12 for quite a few years. For some reason, when the R18 came out, I was compelled to get it. I was so impressed with how solid it was, it also revealed to me how dangerously overloaded my R12 was for my gig rig. So, I decided to get a second R18 for my PA. Now, I feel ready for an upcoming gig in which my saxophones and normal gig rig will be loaded in with one R18, and my PA will be loaded in with the other one. I feel so ready knowing that I'm on solid ground with these big boys (and they are big compared to my R12, but definitely more secure)! If your gig rig is large, you should try one of these to realize how much more peace of mind this solid piece of engineering provides when you are moving your rig in and moving it out.I had the R12 for quite a few years. My brother and I recently started a Blue Grass Country Gospel duet. We were looking for a hand truck, dolly, to transport our equipment when I saw the ROCKnROLLER on You Tube being demonstrated. I immediatly saw the benefits of only having to make one trip, instead of three or four. When I saw the R-18 on Ebay for a fraction of the cost elsewhere, I jumped on it and hit the buy it now button. There were no instructions on how to assemble. It was sold as new, but defiantly looked slightly used. Also had a sticker of the production company that used it(wink wink). But I offered a purchasing price that was ridiculous and they accepted the offer so I'm very happy with what I got in the end! Any recommendations on linch pins for the wheels would be great because they didn't come with any. There were no instructions on how to assemble. Springing the money to buy the Rock-N-Roller MEGA R18 was a hard decision since I already owned and used one of the best convertible, a Magliner Senior 61” convertible hand truck for hauling band equipment and merchandise. When packing my van, I always lost valuable space because I had to allow for the very long Magliner to ride on top of crates of merchandise and sound equipment while leaving a smaller empty void right at the rear doors from floor to ceiling.
