    VR-09B does what it says

    Great light-weight organ with quality presets including a variety of piano, strings, brass, synth, drums, looper that records, and a very intuitive control panel. Simple to layer sounds, simple to edit, simple to save and store too. Trying to figure out how to make any after touch/touch sensitive control adjustments to the keys, still wkg on that. Best thing about it is that it's ready to go right out of the box. Thanks again Roland, the VR-09B made the PERFECT Father's Day gift. Go dads...

    Wonderful and versatile piano/organ/synth with huge features.

    I bought one last year and the sound, performance and versatility make it the best bang for you musical buck. After all, it is a Roland!. One piece of advice however: Always use a passive direct box on each channel when putting it into a high end mixer. The outputs are pretty hot and unbalanced. This is usually ok for an amp, but not a mixer. You will get artifacts due to the problems of unbalanced audio input to mixers. If there were anything Roland could do better, would be to make these balanced outputs on XLR. You will get that with a dual channel direct box.
