Fossil FS2905 Watch for Casual or Dress
This was one that almost got away as it did not initially grab my attention as anything special. I placed a bid on it because of price and the fact that there were no competing bidders. This watch is much nicer than I thought it would be. It is stainless steel with a smokey ion finish that gives it a clean look. Instead of a bezel, it has a raised flat cystal that makes it look like a very expensive piece. The cream colored dial with 12 polished metal hour markers around the dial(instead of numbers) continues the understated theme. The easy to read hands, including a second hand, and date window at the three o'clock position make this watch very functional for casual wear. The small minute markers around the dial give this watch a distinct advantage over most dress watches produced by ... The case is thicker than most dress watches, but thinner than most casual watches giving it a very nice look and feel. The metal bracelet and fold over clasp have a design that compliments the watches overall appearance. Also notable, this is a 100 meter watch(most Fossils are 50 meter watches) enhancing its durability in wet environments and, although it is not a dive watch, could be worn while diving without worry. This is a perfect watch for daily or evening wear. Kudos to Fossil on this one for keeping it simple, yet making it extremely functional. John Green
