Not as good as the original
MGS was one of the greatest videogaming experiences of all time. Unfortunately, once the intro is over so is the rest of the excitement as you are thrust into the role of Raiden. Forced myself to enjoy it, but really couldn't. The curse of the sequel.

Metal Gear Solid 2 is a game that was made several years ago for the PS2. So bear in mind that the graphics will not be God of War II level. They can hold their own and the gameplay is quite good as well as the depth of the game itself. Graphics: I would give the graphics a solid 7/10 or 8/10 even compared to today's games. They are pretty good and would receive a solid 8 but due to it being so old compared to recent games, it can look dated in the movements and interaction with other objects. Sound: 8/10 The sounds and ambient noises help create an environment that SOUNDS like you should be sneaking around. Gameplay: 9/10 The game has solid play style as well as a long game of at least 15-20 hours of play if you know what you are doing. The interaction with the environment has a ... The interaction with the environment has a stiff and strong feel as well as the interaction with the enemies such as holding them at gunpoint or even putting them into a chokehold. There are parts of the missions where you can even hide in objects like lockers and a cardboard box to listen in to conversations. The game does have its downfalls though. My main 2 qualms are its menu system (almost nonexistent) and the sheer amount of movies you watch. The greatest thing about the movies is that you can actually skip through them. They do actually play a part in drawing you into the game and the story but if you watch all the clips and movies you will end up watching several hours of movies, including the end scene/movie. The menu system during the gameplay only pauses the game itself but offers no changes, options, or anything other than telling you what level you are in. Overall: 8/10 the solid gameplay, great ingenuity, and still good enough graphics do more than get the job done with this game, just keep in mind that the game wasnt made yesterday, so try to keep in mind that X means cancel and O means ok (one of the most confusing parts of the game).

It is a great game, if you talk about it storyline wise then it can turn into a movie if you take off the gaming as that the scenes speak for themsalfs. Gameplay wise, it works perfectly with smart enemies who actully act as if they are trying to find you and the music helps a lot by changing between modes. The game can be finished in 20 hours but those 20 hours are so well played that you will most likely want to play them again, hell I played the prologe stage with my brothers for like 5 hours, the gameplay is so much fun that you will want to play around with it. Now the question lies, why can't you play as snake for the whole game? now that is really annoying me for the fact that Metal Gear 1, 2 and Metal Gear Solid are played with Solid Snake as the main character. I enjoy the gameplay, graphics and story, I also like the characters of the game they all have an interesting background. I like the boss fights and the level of difficulty the game has to offer. This product is in good condition everything turned out perfectly well. This game a nice cover a nice design to go with it. Playing video games like this one helps me relive stress or kill time, I like that this game is fun and challenging with extra bonuses that is added in the game. It motivates me further to continue playing even after I've beaten it.
