  • OUTSTANDING!

Not much for reviews, but this DVD is exceptional--27 songs, performed by passionate artists--Jeff Beck is simply the best rock guitarist living, and the rockabilly here is wonderful by Darrel Higham, Imelda May, and Brian Setzer. The bonus featurette of Beck showing off his personal guitar collection--and playing some incredible licks on them to illustrate--is ALONE worth the price of this DVD. Memorable past performances with Les Paul and Jeff Beck together make this an archive of rock history not to be missed. Don't miss out on this classic, intimate performance at the Iridium....not a clinker in the song list.

  • Beck does it again

Another blown away performance of the master guitar god along with fresh players of a different genre, this one being "rockabilly" '50s style rock and traditional pop. Remember it's a tribute to Les Paul and another era and it's fine by itself, but with Jeff Beck at lead it becomes extraordinary, with the other players being Imelda May and her husband Darrel Higgins and the rest of their band along with other guest stars such as Brian Setzer. Imelda has a wonderful voice and is a pleasure to look at too. They did some fantastic covers of great tunes and believe me, I'm going to be watching this one over again for a long time!!! Plus there's excellent bonus features any Beck fan is sure to love

  • Jeff is simply the greatest guitarist on the planet

Jeff and the other musicians give an amazing performance for this tribute to Les Paul and it's just an incredibly well done dvd for the iridium which is very small and very hard to fit the shows production staff and the band together with the fans a must have for all music fans who are really true fans of all types of music this one's for you

  • Best Definig Performance!

I'll be very short & to the point. This 'live' DVD collection displays 'the many sides' of guitarist extraordinaire Beck over the (27) count 'em songs honoring the legendary in his own right- LES PAUL. To get his fancy stylings on such basic selections like The Shadow's APACHE & Santo & Johnny's SLEEPWALK just adds to the overall treat! This is a 'no brainer' for any Beck fan but that steps up to a 'must have' for those like me aren't as aware of the artist but yearn to witness his guitar talents in a single package that runs well over (2) hours!

  • The 50 With Jeff Beck

It's hard to put into word what your seeing, but this maybe one of the truest tribules I have seen since Clapton's Concert for Harrison. Beck stayed true to the form to the point of using hollow body guitars to get the right sounds. At time he did go off on his whammy bar riffs but they were great, as to be expected, if a little out of place. I would say if your a fan of great vocal work, the 50s, big brass, great guitar work, it is a must have.
