    Alpine CDE-9870 Receiver

    We purchased this item because of the size of the unit. This is one of the few units that will bolt right into the dash on our 1967 Vw bus without cutting the original metal. Works perfect...Brings modern day convience using our Ipod hook up and tell us what the name of the song is and who sings in right on the receiver. LOVE IT! The quality and loudness is important because our bus as with most other is loud while driving and you need to be able to hear it. This is perfect for us. Love the cable that runs the I pod...:)

    Good stereo! Great sound for the money!

    Bought this to replace my stock Dodge Infinity unit. It went in well with a wire harness adapter. Just make sure that you don't cross the power antenna and amp remote wires because it will work fine on the radio, but when it switches to CD, it will turn off your amp. Other than my wiring problems, it works just like I hoped it would and is a great addition to my truck.

    This item fits the radio that it was made for. The quality of it was as I had expected. The only letdown was that the harness was not properly stripped prior.
