    Qualified recommendation

    The Deslugger was very easy to install in my2004 Chevy Suburban because I was familiar with the location of the A/C electrical plug on the compressor which was only 2 months old and slugging / straining. The Deslugger is basically plug and play. It would activate my compressor with 4 or 5 short bursts of electricity and then provide a steady 12 volts. In theory, these short bursts should allow the compressor to push the oil and liquid refrigerant that has gathered at the bottom of your car (because of GM's poor decision to place the compressor at the bottom). Unfortunately , it didn't work in my Chevy and the compressor is still struggling and causing the Compressor belt to wildly jump. This jumping will eventually cause the belt and tensioner to fail and may also damage the main ...

    Should be standard equipment

    After replacing 2 belts, lots of scraped knuckles, and plenty of time in a hot vehicle after the belt broke, this is just the thing. Plus I don't have to worry about the day that it's not just the belt that breaks and I have to buy a new compressor. It's only been 2 months, but I can listen and tell it's working. It's easy to install. Can be mounted with zip ties or sheet metal screws

    It may be too late.

    Item works, but if your already having belt tensioner hammering or breaking belts it's probably too late. I thought I'd give it a try before replacing the ac system. I'll keep it on there for the new compressor though.
