    A humble autobiography from a quietly great man

    Written in the same straight forward manner that its author demonstrated while in office, "A Time to Heal" details Ford's rise to the highest office in the world thru the most unusual of circumstances. This book is an enlightening read to the student of politics and helps you really understand Ford the man. Occasionally the book is a bit whiny ("I would have done so-and-so if Congress didn't block my action" is a constant refrain towards the end), but thankfully this is kept to a minimum overall. This book is worth your time to read.

    A Time to Heal by Gerald R. Ford

    I bought this book because I recently visited the Gerald R. Ford Museum, in Grand Rapids MI, and I want to find out more about the only Michigan US president. The book is in mint condition. The price of $12 was very reasonable, since I saw it for $82 on Amazon.com. The book is no longer in print, so all copies are used. I am very pleased with my purchase.
