I appreciated that it was carefully packed with lots of layers of bubblewrap and thin corrugated cardboard. The pad itself was exactly as described, and functioned as expected when I hooked it up to a Roland module and set the correct pad settings in the module.     Put the juice back in your electric guitar game.

    Make no mistake - this "pedal" is a high octane electric guitar dream machine. There IS a learning curve. It will take weeks to cover everything it can do. You WILL instantly have access to many mind-boggling tones . Highly addictive. Highly recommended. The audio quality is excellent. It's built like a little tank. You won't regret spending your rent on it.

    Size and features

    I needed an electric pedal to sit alongside my A2.1u acoustic pedal and the G2.1u was obviously made for it. I have the G9.2tt which I absolutely love but it's too much to transport two and three times a week, so I wanted something more compact to sit on my pedalboard. I play a T5 with an added DTar wavelength pickup and I run the wavelength to my A2 and the standard T5 output to the G2. Two signals to the board and I have one guitar that sounds like two. Zoom products are great quality and I've yet to be disappointed with any of the ones I own. If this is your primary pedal, don't expect the quality sound you'd get from analog pedals but for something compact and lightweight it's perfect.

    The best ZOOM pedal !

    I have this pedal since 2006 and its amazing ! I'm still use it today. Very easy to use & intuitive. Comfortable on the desk becauase the small size. You can connect it to the pc as an audio interface,record and edit. The sound is fantastic more than you expect. You can choose on which effect to control with the foot. It also has a drum machine(good for practice). Built in tuner,but i found the tuner not so accurate. I use this pedal without amplifier and record direct to my pc (using headphones).     ZOOM G2 AND G2.1U WARM AMP SOUND

    The ZOOM G2 and G2.1u have been my go-to pedal for some time. Excellent sounding amp models, Best I have heard. I tried switching back to tube screamers, etc, and have come back to the G2. teenie-weenie problem that I have been able to fix is the use of micro-switches. The foot switches look like large, momentary switches but they are actually just sleeves that push a micro-switch below them. The micro-switch takes a beating and have worn out twice on me. I am good with a soldering iron so I have been able to replace them, which is a small price to apy for the excellent sounding pedal.

    Loving it!

    I questioned whether or not to give this product 5 stars. The effects, as I currently use them, sound a bit digital. However, I'm not sure if this is user error or the machine so I chalked it up to my own inexperience with it. I play with it live about twice a month and it's never given me the slightest bit of trouble. It's sturdy, durable (so far), and compact, but the buttons and screen are large enough to see instantly. I've been extremely happy with this product and would probably buy more like it if I didn't already have about 100 effects pedals in one with this machine.
