    Sinead O'Connor CD review

    I had been looking for this CD for ages in shops. It is my favourite album of hers, brings back a lot of great memories. I had the CD before, lent it to a friend and it was never returned. Sinead is very personal in the songs on this album. It shows her vulnerable, proud, sad and triumphant. And you just can't beat this woman's voice...absolutely pure, really beautiful. The honesty in these songs is at once startling and at times cringeworthy..Fair play to her! She also does a couple of covers, No Apologies and Scorn not his simplicity, which fit in with the mood and tone of the album. And in my view, she makes them all the better. The CD was delivered in perfect condition and I'll enjoy it, I hope, for many years to come.

    Thank You for Hearing Me is a great song!! This CD is a little dark, like Red Football, but you gotta love Sinead O'Connor.

    Sinead O'Connor after the Fire...

    This recording is lower in volume probably because the date. It presents good bass though. I thought is was a lovely album showcasing her talent as a strong ballad singer. Mostly "monochromatic" in nature as the songs and theme of the album present a more sad and subdued melancholy movement. OUTSTANDING.

    Beautiful and heartfelt music and lyrics.

    I ave loved this album for years. It really is an ageless album. I owned it as an early teenager and I bought it again because I am going to be a mother and there are many songs on here that celebrate that aspect.
