Received item and upon opening found the mounting screws with residual thread lock on the threads indicating to me that the scope rings/mount were not "new" as indicated in listing. Looked to be previously installed. Reached out to seller and it took three days to receive a response. Seller indicated they were not used but that moisture "may" have gotten in package. None of this was disclosed in the description. I asked seller if he had screws to replace the rusted used one's and he said "no".

Our apologies regarding the rusty screws. It can get humid in our area and that may have possibly been the cause (we has these in stock for over 1 year). The rings were 100% brand new. The "residual thread lock" on the screws is standard. They actually come like that from Browning/Talley. We hope the full refund you received makes up for the inconvenience.
