    Not bad.

    This is my first day having this. It’s a decent cassette player, i would get 2 of them just to be safe. but these are pretty good for 11$. these do have a slight pitch change, but its not that bad. Overall its good so far. I will see how this holds up for a week and if its even better then I will change my review.

    Lacking one important feature

    It's probably my fault for not checking this out more closely before buying. I never imagined that a cassette player would be designed with no rewind feature. You have to take the cassette out, turn it over, and use the FF feature to actually rewind. Then you have to take the tape back out again and put it in its original orientation. This is maddening when you are listening to language tapes and need to go back over something. Also, the tape has to be very carefully placed or the door will not close properly- it took a few tries to learn how to do this properly. Overall, this is a badly designed and very inconvenient unit and I wish I hadn't bought it.

    Compared to the RCA, for same price, this one is junk!

    All the negative comments are singing from my same hymn book. Whew boy, the door sticks, when you walk while the cassette is playing, the sound becomes distorted every time the headphone wire hits up against anything. And yes your tape will sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. I just took a loss and ended up using the headphones for the similarly priced but better quality RCA model.

    A disappointment from Craig

    I have used Craig electronics in the past and have always been satisfied so, in spite of poor reviews, I gave it a try. The cassettes play too fast. Unless you want all of your music, books on tape, etc., to sound like Alvin and the Chipmonks, buy something else. And if you find a good quality tape player, please let me know. I need one!

    Door, "sticks."

    I have a large cassette collection. Needed/wanted an inexpensive cassette player to play the cassettes when I exercise at the gym. The, "door, " where you insert the cassette, didn't open wide enough to put the cassette in. Hadda' use some force....which eventually loosened the door up. BUT, that extra pressure broke one of the door hinges. Put Duct Tape on it...now door works well. Looks terrible, but for the gym it is OK. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
