Good product; tough to install
The hardware appears to be decent quality, but the instructions (which supposedly cover all models from 2010 to 2017) are a single page (in English, and a page each in other languages), and are not all that comprehensive, even for an experienced installer. (My Tuscon is a 2017 "Sport".) Wires were not always sufficient length, while others were far too long, and several plastic trim panels had to be carefully removed to gain access a pass-through in the frame. While the kit was mostly "plug & play", a critical module requires a power wire to be run all the way from the back of the vehicle up to the car's battery under the hood. A far simpler work-around (for my model, anyway) was to hook up a 12v power plug and use the 12v socket in the load area of my particular vehicle whenever a ... When not in use, all external wiring (for the trailer plug as well as the 12v power plug) can be stored under the hinged load floor. Depending on the customer vehicle's year and model, I believe installation of this kit could range from relatively easy (for an earlier, simple-trim base model) to fairly difficult (for a later, higher-trim model like mine). All in all, I still recommend this kit, but with the understanding that it may be difficult for even a professional to install.
