No BS, Genuine A1502 Mac battery. Manufacturer SMP battery showing in system report (photo included). I originally bought a Chinese knock off, don't bother. This is almost double the price but it works. I used my Mac for music production. The Chinese battery would cause the Mac to instantly shut down, if you did anything more intensive than browse the web. I have Ableton, VCV and a couple of VST's running it's working fine. happy to have my trusty Mac running like it used to.

The battery received was not genuine, although a very good fake. The text, spelling mistakes on the label, sticker placement and overall fitment was not like a genuine battery. After a bit of back and forth with the seller they agreed and gave me a refund so can’t really give negative feedback. Just beware that the seller’s batteries are not genuine but do a good job at being a replica. Ordered a good quality replacement elsewhere.

This is 100% genuine battery, it is just different revision because it will fit to 20 different models. It does have Toshiba chip in-build inside the battery which protect before using fake battery.
