    Alesis digital piano the real deal.

    I bought this portable digital piano for the 88 weighted keys and the USB port. To use as a practice piano and a usb midi keyboard controller. The fact that is doesn’t have pitch bend or a modulation wheel is irrelevant for me as I would not use them anyway. The onboard sounds and the built in speakers is a bonus for practice. Much to my shock however is the internal grand piano sound is amazing. Almost as good as my Addictive Keys program. Very usable. Alesis has really stepped up their game. The last Alesis keyboard I owned was aweful as far as internal voices. This piano is an amazing value at this price point. It’s not a high end Nord but it is FAR better than its price.

    A Great Bargain - for the quality you get.

    My son wanted a keyboard, go get one at the pawn shop he said - a used one is fine he said. It was his gift for Christmas and although he is a forty something Dad - he is still my kid. A used one would not do... he has played a little and learned from his grandmother. He loves it. The sound and the key action are amazing. He has already sent me two videos of him playing. He is thrilled - so I am too. A really great product and sounds as good as (if not better) than the ones that cost 10x as much.
