    Out of this world

    Sharpness is great (compared to my 12-24mm Sigma). It would be nice if Nikon caught up with Canon giving us a 17mm tilt/shift, but 24mm is just perfect for shooting interesting architectural and interior design creatively, with strategic composition, without showing too much. The lens movements can be converted to swings and fall/rise by rotating the lens. But if you want operational details, I'm sure you can find the manual PDF online. What I can say is sharpness and optics are superior to those in cheaper lenses. The rotation knobs and controls are a little tiny and tight and cumbersome to operate, and some people have told me they are fragile. But the movements are there when you need them and so far I haven't had any fragility issues with mild operation of them.
