Vol 1 is a masterpiece
I became an instant fan of Rat Queens after buying volume 1 on a whim. The characters are engaging, hilarious with such impressive effort written into each characters personality. You instantly fall in love with the assemble -beer guzzling Rat Queens and their adventures. Sadly, volume 2 and 3 fall short of impressive with weaker storylines and less humor. But kudos to the writer and artists for doing such a fantastic job nonetheless. I became an instant fan of Rat Queens after buying volume 1 on a whim.
