SBK: Superbike World Championship lets motorcycle racing enthusiasts climb aboard 22 different bikes and race around a dozen official Superbike World Championship courses. All of the real teams and riders from the circuit are available for use, and each bike can be realistically upgraded and tweaked with new tires, brakes, and adjustable suspension and gearing. Racers must deal with four different weather conditions, while advanced physics and rider AI are intended to produce an extremely realistic racing experience. Those who prefer arcade-style racing can make use of the five different pre-configured realism settings as they speed through Instant Action, Time Attack, Race Weekend, Championship, Challenge, and Quick Race modes. Gamers looking for competition can head online for multiplayer Quick Races for up to eight.

    Good, but that's back then

    Pretty good game, but right now I still think the SBK X is best SBK: 09 is straight from the churn. For those unfamiliar with the series, they're bare-boned motorcycling simulators that use the SBK license as a life rope. Casual racers in particular should beware, SBK: 09 is not a podium-girl-banging stud who'd happily out ride an explosion while screaming out the lyrics to Kenny Loggins' Danger Zone. It's a German engineer in a helmet set to go home and make 'efficient' love to his wife. In other words, it works. But it's boring.

    great racing

    i have ordered a better motion controller to use this game. the standard d-pad needs motion control for leaning. i used to drive motorcycles. need a better controller to be realistic.

    Great Value! Made a great gift!

    This game is pretty cool and offers a bunch of different bikes,riders and famous tracks to race on from around the world. The game features a nice tutorial mode, quick race feature and several other options. I only wish I would have checked to see if the game was available for my PS2, as I HATE the way the PS3 controllers and game experience in general. But aside my from the actual game was swell. You should buy one if you are interested in it.

    Awesome

    This game is very similar to an actual motorcycle experience. The handling is pretty hard. The acceleration is amazing. The graphics and races are unreal. I love it. It's pretty challenging.
