    Nothing But Nostalgia!

Nostalgia from my childhood. Since this replaced a copy of mine that was stolen ages ago by a 'friend' I played the living daylights out of this already. Huge improvement to what TMNT II: The Arcade NES game had to offer. If you want a really good two player beat'em up game to play with loved one or friend grab a copy of TMNT III! My copy wasn't a reproduction, or repo, so be careful when you look around for your own copy.

  • TMNT 3 Manhattan project game

This is by far the best one of the three TNMT games for the original nintendo that were released. Don't get me wrong the other two were wonderful but this one was the cream of the crop. I remember when I first played this game as child and I found it much more entertaining, and easier by far, to play then the first two. Partially because of the of the controls. Yes the controls for this game were definitely superior to its predecessors, by means of allowing you more mobility and the ability to do special attacks(the previous two did not have any special features like this)which were unique for each turtle. This game was similar to the TMNT 1&2 games by means of the rest(lives) and continue features. TMNT 3 played in a similar way as well, but was given the ability for you to ...

  • one of the best ninja turtles game ever in my opioion..

I believe this game is one of the best games I ever, played on Nes. It is not an easy game to beat I recommend 2 players. The graphics are nice considering the fact that, this game plays for an 8 bit system. The only thing that bothers me about this game is, when you use your special attack it takes life from your turtle.I am old school ninja turtle fan so, I grew playing these games and when turtles came out I had the first one and the second one. So then I decided to complete my collection, and my parents bought me turtles 3. This game is well worth your purchase on eBay or where ever else you can get it.

  • Fun retro game and a great series. Must get and the price is right.

I remember playing these TMNT games back in the late 80's and into the 90's. I loved playing these things in spite of some of their flaws. They seem to have held up well over time and for a retro gamer like myself are a real treat to play again. That being said I bought them for my 4 year old who's obsessed with the TMNT cartoons and loves to play his Wii U when possible. I figured he wouldn't have too much trouble figuring out the exceedingly easier to use original Nintendo control if he can use a Wii U remote. We shall see.

  • Basically the same game as 1 & 2, BUT RARER, still fun

This game isn't the easiest TMNT game to come across, so if you can get it in single digits you should grab it. It's not a bad game but just too much like it's predecessors to warrant high praise. The old TMNT are so much cooler than the new ones, how could they get rid of that song!!?!? This game brings it all back like it should be, a kids cartoon. You know, a little goofy, not all serious like the new ones. Overall it's relatively easy, because you have unlimited continues, and time wise the game is short. But let me tell you if I put this game on and my Son is anywhere near he goes crazy, the young ones love it. For what you can get this rare game for, especially compared to what it costs new, you should have no second thoughts.
