    Excellent Versatile Lens

    I gave this lens a test drive at a charity walk. Where the action was such that it was not convenient for me to carry more than one camera or switch lenses. This lens is a good fit for my needs. I already have a wide angle and a tele lenses. I needed something to cover those 'in-between' places, with the versatility to go long or wide at a moments notice.

    Tamron 28-200mm F3.8-5.6 for Maxxum

    Excellent lense and super optics. Quality design. Ease of function. Takes great pics. The only feature I wished that it had, would be the auto-focus. If it had that, it would be perfect in every way. It is very compact but has the ability to really zoom in!
