  • An Excellent Resource for costumers and re-enactors.

This wonderfully illustrated book contains some of the finest examples of women's period fashion, shown in superb detail. I would strongly recommend any of her works for those who want accurate period costumes with rich illustrations and easy to follow information.

  • title could tell more of era

This book is an excellent resource for authentic sewers of doll clothing. It gives very detailed drawings of dresses in museums and their trims and how they were sewn. I have Patterns of Fashion 2, also for the same reason...both great resources for sewers.
