The JBL 2482 had some corrosion in the voice coil gap and the diaphragm mounting screws. But I cleaned the gap and replaced all the mounting screws with stainless steel pan head screws! The bake lite throat sleeve was perfect! And the overall sound was excellent (A+)!!! The DC resistance on the voice coil measured 7.8 Ohms (it should be 8.5 Ohms plus or minus 15% or 7.22 Ohms to 9.78 Ohms DC)! I am very happy with my purchase!
