Dragon's Lair is Back!
If you're old enough to remember this game, then you know it was a paradigm shifting visual masterpiece. Based on laser disc technology and cel animation it brought high definition gaming to the arcades at a time when it's closest competitor was something like "Star Wars Trilogy" which utilized 16 bit graphics. Now on the Wii, the game is complete, along with it's sequels Dragon's Lair II, and Space Ace. Best of all, it has a "movie mode" where you can watch the game unfold without having to actually play the game. Old school, retro-gaming at it's finest, and real trip down memory lane. I Love this old school classic arcade game! Great gameplay! Go Dirk! Go!
In one word "AWESOME"! Just as I remembered it back in the 80's. Game plays just like the arcade for those who remember it. Well worth having in a collection just for nostalgia of good "old school" gaming from back in the day. Try playing on all modes of difficulty for a bit of challenge. Even on easy you still might make a mistake, so having infinite lives helps for those who cant beat it with 3-5 lives. The game has a lot of repetition but is still quite fun for those who just love the game.In one word "AWESOME"! Just as I remembered it back in the 80's. Probably the best home port of the Dragons Lair trilogy ever.
There have been soooo many home ports of this game.... Most nowhere near the original. But this one is really an exact duplicate, but with some additional compelling gameplay options.

Started playing Dragon's Lair in 1983 as an arcade game. It was the first of its kind with high definition animated graphics. The game was a challenge, but was a lot of fun even if your character died. It was almost like watching a cartoon that you could control the main character. It's back, on the Wii and I have it. Everything is remastered and is just like playing the arcade game. My kids and I have spent hours playing each other and we are still on the original game.
