    A Good Watch for Casual Use

    This review is for the Timex Men's TW4B043009J Expedition Scout Chronograph Analog Quartz Watch. Although my primary watch is a heavy-duty Casio G-Shock solar-atomic stainless steel digital sports watch, I’d been looking for a lightweight analog chronometer watch to wear in more causal situations. Among the various analog chronometer watches I looked at, the Timex Expedition Scout Chronograph struck a responsive chord since it reminded me of the vintage watches of 70 or more years ago. Also, I’ve always had a soft spot for Timex watches. My very first watch, which I received back when I was about 9 or 10, was a Timex. Later, I wore Timex watches all through high school and college. I currently have a Timex Men’s Expedition Scout 40 watch, which has given me good service so far. From ...

    Nice watch

    Love the watch but two things I’d change . Bought the larger dial , I’d buy the smaller one next time . The green only shows up as green in very bright light. Maybe the blue dial next time around . Like the leather band and only use it as a dress watch . Wouldn’t last for every day doing construction . Id buy again

    This timex is readable in any lighting condition. The hands contrast perfectly against the green face during daylight and dim light conditions and of course, the indiglo night light is perfect in the dark. The larger size looks great. A good looking watch that is a great wrist tool.
