The Fixx were a big part of the early 1980's new wave era of pop music ! Songs like "One Thing Leads to Another" & "Saved By Zero" dominated the air waves and MTV during this time in popular music !! This best of collection represents all of their hit singles and other cool tracks in digitally remastered sound quality !! Been searching for Fixx songs not available on iTunes and found them on this cd. The cd was good because it included the classics as well as songs that are new. What a great band from the 80's that has survived the years and made constant great music for everyone to enjoy throughout the years. One of the most thoughtful 80s bands with deep meaningful lyrics. A great sampling of their best work maybe minus "Reach the Beach". This is one of the bands that really stuck with me after the music revelation of the 80s came and went. Great bass lines and beats. Cy Cumin's vocals are memorable, unique, and recognizable. They're still together, touring and recording a new album fro spring 2011. The Fixx
This compilation has several of the classics found on other CD's and it's a great disc to have if you don't already own Reach The Beach. The accoustics are prety good, bass is prominent and the highs are a little over emphasized. Overal I'm very happy with this CD and have to admit I had forgotten about the Fixx. Hearing these old songs again is a complete pleasure and I remember now why I liked them so much in the 80's.
