  • "Old School" Gunsmithing

I love this book because it covers tasks that aren't regularly taken on by amatuers or gunsmiths alike, using basic hand tools. Things like making your own hinged floor plate with basic hand tools instead of buying one, and a large number of topics that can be accomplished with little cost. If you like to work on your own guns this is a good basic book to get started. It may not be advanced enough for some but this is a great book that can keep you busy and not broke for a long time.

  • Good read

Exactly as advertised. Full of info and fun to read

  • Just a few basics

Not enough info on what I was looking for.

  • Gunsmithing 1

As with any how-to book there's always something missing or not explained correctly for the reader. This is a great book for the aspiring gunsmith and should give that individual an idea on what's required in the field and what needs to be focused on more.

  • This was a great buy.

This book shows the different steps, tools and parts to gunsmithing and was what I was looking for to help get started on my way to home gunsmithing.
