    wonderful piece of film/GENIUS soundtrack"Pink Floyd" obscured by clouds

    I never really like foreign language films, having to constantly view most films up, down, up down etc. To catch all the dialogue. But la vallee has a different feel and thing going for it altogether. VERY atmospheric, I don't use anymore, but a great tripper film with such a natural soothing, brilliant scenery that is all wrapped up w/ the personal best sound tract band for what the brilliant combo of direction /production, and editing, tying in pink Floyd's(entire) soundtrack, which comes from the best group of musicians at that time to lay out a squeaky clean perfection of mood, action, scenery etc. Which fits perfectly, though the songs are cut and pasted into the music director's discretion, and everything into consideration, this is a MUST see. U will see how it flows and rings pitch ...

    Not quite what I remembered

    I saw this movie when it was in theaters, maybe 40 years ago. I seem to remember that it made more sense then... maybe it had subtitles? This version does not. It’s mostly in French. The Pink Floyd soundtrack album is better, though very little of the music makes it into the movie.

    La Vallee (Obscured by Clouds)

    Old hippie cult movie. Wonderful setting & scenery. Loved it first time around where it was only shown in special cinemas in the UK. I was amazed that I found it at all. Have watched it again & the original magic has not diminished. Stands the test of time well. A lot of the film is in french, hence the title, La Vallee. My sincere thanks to the seller.
