    Most challenging yet!

    I currently own around 15 of the Technic brand Lego sets aimed toward the "older" crowd of 16 years and up, (I'm 62 years old). I've taken almost all of them apart and put them back together again numerous times, kinda like doing puzzles! I almost past on buying this set because it didn't look that challenging to me. I couldn't have been more wrong. This was one of my favorites and I own both the mining set and the Bugatti car. This has so many power functions and an outrageous amount of pieces! If you plan on buying one of these higher priced Technic sets, this one I give a four star review to. Have fun, I'm sure my grand kids will soon.

    Amazing Model

    This was our first "mega" lego build. This is an amazing model. Extremely detailed from the drivetrain components to the superstructure functions. Very impressed, and looking forward to our next big lego build. This took us in the neighborhood of 25 hours to complete over several days. That is at a very relaxed pace as we were in no hurry to complete the project. We were just enjoying the process.

    Awesome lego set

    Although there are over 100 gears, all functions run smoothly, with no noticable over loading g of the motor. I think the designer has also done a fantastic job of reinforcing the model to reduce flex.

    Engineering marvel!

    Amazing! Over 4000 parts. One motor controls all the functions through a series of gear selectors. Its an engineering marvel. I was a little worried if all functions would work but it all came together at the end and all functions work. Took about 2 weeks of about an hour or so each day for full assembly.
