      YES, It really is as good as all of those reviews said it was.

      This GREAT! I read many reviews, and this unit actually performs as well as all of the good reviews claimed. I now have lots of WIFI range, no dead spots, fast thru-put. One of the best investments I have made to my computer system in a long time. My other router was 9 years old, If you're 'on the fence', Don't be, I wish i hdad made this move a year ago (instead of fighting that other old router (which was a different brand). This is my first ASUS product, but effeminately not my last.

      No Dead Zones!

      In my house when you were upstairs you were not able to get satisfactory Wi-Fi signal for your tablet or phone. With the Asus RT-AC87U AC2400 router you get excellent signal even in the GARAGE! This is helpful when the wife is mad at you and you have to retreat to your garage and watch YouTube videos or listen to music streaming while you work on your car. I suggest this product to anyone who wants a superb router at a excellent price!

      super fast inhouse router

      this router has extremely robust security features, easily bearing upon commercial application. my smart phone response is right at Instantaniously. Wow, what a time saver using the net and not my phone data charges. every household could exploit this device for all net based devices. BRAVO...BRAVO...BRAVO ASUS, and the entire line of ASUS gear is miles ahead of the competition. If I was still in the IT business full time, this device would be the centerpiece of data distribution in the software development shop.

      One of / Best Router Ever

      I'm amaze by the quality of signal, and also blown away by the various advance settings and features. Great monitoring of devices in a simple matter, that shows speeds, website visit, amount of data per device. QOS has great features, along with parental controls that allows you to full control the time, content level, security level, bandwidth limit ... of kids devices.

      Powerful Router

      This router is very powerful, not sure why they put a dual core chip in it, it never goes above 2 or 3% cpu usage. Plenty of memory, hardly ever gets used. Frequent firmware updates keeps it secure. Very fast data transfer speeds. You can turn the lights off on the router by pressing a button on the front of the router, but they come back on after a reboot.
