    Perfect cage!

    So the sidewinder isn't specifically built for Traxxas so there is no mount for it, so you have to find someway to mount the ESC. This solves that problem. It mounts the ESC where the Traxxas ESC normally mounts. Only thing to be aware about is that the on/of switch case has tiny screws. You need a 1.3mm hex screwdriver for it. Of course most hex sets only go down to 1.5, so I went and got a separate 1.3. But I did see hex sets at Harbor Freight that had the 1.3 also listed as .050, whatever metric number that means. But once I got it all lined up, it is excellent.

    Cage your esc!

    I bash my 2wd slashes quite a bit with my 2 sons. We usually end up slamming into something or each other. I've tried to secure the castle esc with just strong double sided tape but and secure it to a plate, but it keeps managing to break loose. This thing is excellent. Just had to mount the on and off switch in a funky location so it wouldn't be hanging off the LCG chassis.

    Great Item

    This item is great when converting a Traxxas Slash to a Castle Creations ESC. This cage also has a place to mount an OFF/ON Switch, this is very handy. I have purchased 4 of these items and they are very durable and I have never had any problems with them.
