      Needed a replacement for an original controler that stopped working

      While these Ademco 5834 controller are inexpensive, they are easily broken, or can have parts break (my old one the entire battery holder came unsoldered from the motherboard.) So ordering a new one is pretty easy and simple online. Hope this one lasts, but from what I understand, 4-5 years is pretty good for these things.

      Get technical help to program.

      I am not a programmer so I had difficulty with setting up to my system. I recommend using a technician or getting proper programming information. Not much help on You tube.
